This cane is made with Premo Translucent "Frost" clay and a little bit of coloured clay. The instructions can be modified with your own preferred tinted clay for a different affect.
Layering the cane slices in a cross-hatch pattern is an affect that I really like.
A fantastic cane that's both beautiful and versitile. I call this my "Magnolia Beads" because they look like they're little flower buds that are about to burst open. This is another cane inspired by Donna Kato.
Adding that final sheet of gold clay, on the cane, really gives it that fabulous defination.
This cane is also wonderul in a 3D affect. Setting the cane slices (medium-thin thickness) on the base bead and folding it over just a bit looks good, too!
